Explore this large reserve of dryland forest on the Moorabool river, renowned for excellent bird watching. Water for the environment is water set aside to support the river, plants and animals that live, feed and breed in and around the river, water releases in the drier months are really important for the plants and animals that rely on the river in the Meredith Education Area.  Managed by Parks Victoria the area is a great location for a bushwalk through pristine sections of the Moorabool river and bush camping - 4wd access only.
